Join Eliza Hawkins to find migrating warblers, resident barred owls, and wading birds in McCord Pond. Learn your way around a hidden Tallahassee urban forest gem, Guyte P. McCord Park . Its a perfect time of the year to look for migrating warblers and we will walk the park’s walking trail to find them! Learn bird identification tips and how to use eBird. Bring binoculars, cameras, cell phones with Merlin and/or eBird applications.
Loaner Binoculars are available upon request.
Time permitting, participants are welcome to end up at Eliza's bird friendly yard, with feeders and water feature, on the south side of McCord Park.
